1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
This week, our prayer is quite simple: we pray for God to strengthen our leadership.
Let us not start and end with our Pastor alone.
Let us prayer for his/her family.
Let us pray for the pastoral leaders and their families.
Let us pray for our departmental leaders and their families.
Let us pray for our managers, employers, political leaders and royalty.
Paul charged Timothy to do many things in 1&2 Timothy, but one of the first things was to pray for all people (read 1 Timothy 2:1-2 above)
We must start to pray for those in leadership and we pray that God will hearken unto our prayers IJN.
God bless.
Leaders are stewards for God, much responsibility is expected to whom much is given
Hi Jose,
Yes they are, and it is such a great responsibility they carry.
We are believers must do our best to continue to lift them up and to provide a prayer covering for them.
