Two weeks ago I received the loveliest news I have heard in a while: one of my best friend’s gave birth to her first child!
Now I can’t explain how over the moon ecstatic I was to hear that, and there are numerous reasons why…
The ‘Mum’ in question is one of my favourite people in the entire world. Her Husband, or ‘Daddy Mak’ as I will now be calling him, is one of my favourite people. They are a beautiful couple. Their story is so gorgeous. They got married in 2015, and I feel so blessed that through my friendship with the Wife/Mummy, I feel like I have been following their journey from the very beginning.
So you can imagine my joy when I heard she had given birth! From talking with her about her wedding, to MOH duties, to Bridal Showers, Baby Showers and our marathon phone calls in between, things have just moved at an exponential rate. To God alone be ALL the glory.
Truly He makes EVERYTHING beautiful in its time ❤
