27 Lessons X Psalms 27: Hear

Hear – 2 Chronicles 7:14

So I continue ’27 Lessons’* with another important word – Hear

(*Just to explain, I turned 27 this year on 22nd August 2018. I held a birthday dinner during which each attendee was given a different word based on one of my favourite chapters in the bible – Psalms 27)

Hear

So the next word was Hear and it came from 2 Chronicles 7:14:

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

So I know it’s a common verse, one that I use practically every other day when praying for revival in the United Kingdom, but what grabbed me was the assurance that God is there.

Each time we call, we know He will answer.

Each time we cry, He listens.

Every time we pray, we know He hears.

So my encouragement to you dear Reader is to not relent – stand on the assurance that our God hears. He does not fail, and He will come through.
