Teach – Psalm 25:5
I want to continue ’27 Lessons’* with another important word – Teach.
(*Just to explain, I turned 27 this year on 22nd August 2018. I held a birthday dinner during which each attendee was given a different word based on one of my favourite chapters in the bible – Psalms 27)
Teach
Ok, so the next word was Teach and it came from Psalm 25:5:
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
I love this verse.
It just encourages us to go back to God’s word, because when push comes to shove, it is the only thing that stands firm.
My prayer is that you will continue to be led by God’s truth.
Sometimes the world paints us a different picture, and what we read in the Word contradicts with the narratives that we experience each day. But I pray that we will be encouraged in God’s true word.
It may take a bit longer than we anticipate (and most of the time, it’s the waiting that drives us to despair) but the beauty of waiting on God is that we find strength that sustains us on roads too difficult to walk on our own.
So be encouraged by our awesome Teacher…
