Deliver – Psalm 72:12
I want to continue ’27 Lessons’* with another important word – Deliver.
(*Just to explain, I turned 27 this year on 22nd August 2018. I held a birthday dinner during which each attendee was given a different word based on one of my favourite chapters in the bible – Psalms 27)
Deliver
Ok, so your word was Deliver and it was taken from Psalm 72:12:
For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.
Such a simple verse, but one that I had overlooked in my regular bible reading.
The encouragement is that God will deliver.
We need not be afraid to cry or afraid to call for help, because He does not leave us without help.
Be encouraged. God delivers, and He saves.
We do well when we lay those cards closest to our chest at His feet.
