27 Lessons X Psalms 27: Wait

Wait – Lamentations 3:25

I want to continue ’27 Lessons’* with another important word – Wait.

(*Just to explain, I turned 27 this year on 22nd August 2018. I held a birthday dinner during which each attendee was given a different word based on one of my favourite chapters in the bible – Psalms 27)

Wait

Ok, so your word was Wait and although there are sooooo many good references in the Psalms, your verse actually came from Lamentations 3:25:

The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

I have quite a history with waiting lol But what I felt was that God needs us to go through the process.

Waiting refines, matures and develops us.

So my encouragement is to wait.

Wait whilst it seems unlikely.

Wait whilst it seems impossible.

Wait whilst it hurts.

Wait whilst no one else understands.

Wait until things change.

My prayer is that while you wait you will remember this verse, and that we serve a God who is good to those who wait on him.
