Day 63: Everlasting Joy (Lessons From Isaiah)

July has been tough.

Only 11 days in, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this month has been the most difficult month for me so far this year.

BUT despite the difficulties and challenges that have arisen this month, I am encournaged by the word I read in Isaiah:

Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

It’s difficult, but in the midst of the storm I can find nothing else to do than to confess this reality:

I am redeemed.

I have everlasting Joy.

I shall obtain gladness

Sorrow and morning shall flee away from me.

Despite my feeling, I had a confidence in God’s Word that can never be shaken.

Confess the Word and be encouraged today.
