6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Isaiah 55: 6-7
One question I continually ask myself is: Am I seeking God?
You see, I don’t ever want to miss God. I can have so many things going on in life – work, family, relationships, projects etc – but I always want to make sure that my focus is God.
The Bible says we should seek God whilst He may be found and call on Him whilst He is near.
We can’t ever take the fact we know God for granted. The challenge for us as Believers is to constantly return to God, as He is so forgiving, so accepting and so willing to pardon us.
Some of us need to stop running from God, stop hiding from our Maker. God is waiting to accept you with open arms. Don’t let anything stop you from reaching out to Him.
He is waiting on you to draw near to Him. Don’t waste a single moment. Whether you have been saved for 5 years or 5 mins, make sure you are actually seeking Him.
