I realise that I’ve been pretty flaky with posts recently, so I just thought I’d get back on it.
The last verse I wanted to discuss before I went on a break was from Isaiah 51:
Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
-Isaiah 51:6
I love this SO much. A reminder that God’s salvation and righteousness is right here.
The Lord is telling us that salvation is permanent and can never be eroded.
How often do we doubt our faith and let fear take a hold on us?
How often do we listen to the lies of the enemy questioning our righteousness before God?
Thank God for Christ.
Because of Him we are no longer condemned. We no longer have to accept the attempts of satan to discourage us, because we have a hope and we have a heritage.
Be encouraged!
