Another simple day witnessing: met someone in ASDA and shared with them a tract. Funnily enough, today I noted the reaction, which was much more pleased than the other people I had spoken with (and by now, you guys know that I've evangelised to quite a few people in ASDA lol) Good attempt, better feeling. … Continue reading Day 23: The Evangelism Challenge (The Girl in ASDA)

Day 22: The Evangelism Challenge (The Forgetfulness )
So today I forgot.....AGAIN. Just like Day 16, I went to work, went to church and went about my business, but didn't strike up a conversation about Christ with anyone. It's so easy to not witness when you're not actually/prayerfully looking for opportunities to witness.... God help me with the rest of the week. No … Continue reading Day 22: The Evangelism Challenge (The Forgetfulness )
Day 21: The Evangelism Challenge (The ‘Other’ Guy At Work)
So today I spoke to another colleague about Christ and gave him a tract. It wasn't even meant to be that simple, but as I was speaking to a lady in the office, I found out she attends HTB (Holy Trinity Brompton) and I asked the titular 'Guy' if he goes to church too. He … Continue reading Day 21: The Evangelism Challenge (The ‘Other’ Guy At Work)
Day 20: The Evangelism Challenge (The Guy Who Wanted My Number)
So today was interesting..... It was Sunday, which meant I was in church (but I wasn't serving), so I went along to the 9am service. Now I won't go into too much detail, but let's just say that my dressing that day was nice - maybe too nice? I'll explain why I say that* I … Continue reading Day 20: The Evangelism Challenge (The Guy Who Wanted My Number)
Day 19: The Evangelism Challenge (The Outreach)
So today I returned to what I know: Outreaches. Don't ask me why, but ever since I started going out on Saturdays to evangelise with Auntie G, my confidence has grown, and it's become so natural to me. Let me not lie and say I find it easy each morning - not at all, I … Continue reading Day 19: The Evangelism Challenge (The Outreach)
Day 18: The Evangelism Challenge (The Girls from Uni)
Today I just had to engage someone! After a few fairly disappointing days of witnessing, I really wanted to actually engage someone in conversation. I went to the gym after work and as I was walking back home, I stood waiting at the bus stop. I saw a car across the road, the driver of … Continue reading Day 18: The Evangelism Challenge (The Girls from Uni)
Day 17: The Evangelism Challenge (The Girl at the Store)
Okay so today cannot be like yesterday. There's no way.... I spoke to a lady working in a store, asking her own view on faith/religion and telling her about my own, before leaving her with a tract. The Gospel made simple. Simples. Much better result....
Day 16: The Evangelism Challenge (The Lazy Forgetfulness…)
Today I forgot!!! Didn't speak to anyone...! I have no words to explain myself. I simply forgot - and by the time I remembered, it was past midnight and I was already in bed. Such a shame. Please Lord, I need grace and wisdom for tomorrow....
Day 15: The Evangelism Challenge (The Other Man at the Checkout)
Today is a slight blur because I did lazy evangelism and gave a tract to a man at the check out. I must sound really dismissive of it, but I know I could have injected a bit more into the method.... Who knows what tomorrow will bring....?
Day 14: The Evangelism Challenge (The Girl At Work….again)
Today was Monday, which means I was back at work! Following on from the conversation I had with my girl on Friday 11th which you can read here.... On Monday, I followed the convo up with a tract, which explained sin, sacrifice and the cross. She said she'd read it, and I said I'll talk … Continue reading Day 14: The Evangelism Challenge (The Girl At Work….again)
